A heartfelt coming-of-age story for the entire family starring Judd Hirsch (The Fablemans, Taxi, Ordinary People), Amy Smart (Varsity Blues, The Butterfly Effect), former Major League Baseball player, Curtis Pride, and as Jordy, Carson Minniear. Based on true events, the film focuses on Jordy, who must overcome a serious injury he experiences during a Little League baseball tryout. After a long recovery process, he goes off to summer camp with his older brother where he befriends a deaf catcher, Lucas, and his sister. Based on the siblings’ own experiences of living with a disability, they help him overcome his anxiety and fear of returning to the mound. Together the kids learn that anything is possible when you believe in yourself and cherish your friendships. Heartland Film Festival Audience Choice Award.
